Rabeprazole (enteric coated)
- Within 5 minutes of rabeprazole exposure the proton pump was near maximally inhibited¹
- Maintains pH > 4 for more time than the other PPIs¹
- Enhances gastric mucin and mucus content, exerting a clinical benefit in protecting the alimentary tract mucosa¹
- Clearly superior to H₂ receptor antagonists²
